FoodCo donates Covid-19 palliatives to orphanages, widows, vulnerable communities.
As part of efforts aimed at providing succour to vulnerable members of the society affected
From our inception in 1982, FoodCo Nigeria Limited has been actively involved in touching the lives of vulnerable members of our communities through various social intervention initiatives. With growth over the years, it became necessary to restructure these efforts to build capacity as well as provide a credible platform through which like-minded individuals and corporates can partner in the programs. Hence FoodCo Foundation, the CSR arm of the company, was born.
In 2019, FoodCo Foundation awarded scholarships to the first batch of beneficiaries of the Adegbenga Sun-Basorun Scholarship Scheme, established in memory of Dr. Adegbenga founding chairman of the company. The scholarship aims at reaching one thousand indigent secondary school students selected from within FoodCo host communities and has been lauded as one of the most ambitious programs of its kind in the country.
